Helm is a hard man to like sometimes, but he's fascinating to read about. In this one, Helm's target grabs Louise and uses her as a shield, calling to Helm to throw out his gun and come out, or he will shoot her. Helm sensibly calls back, "Go ahead. When she falls, you'll still be standing there."
